Back in the time if you were a women, you were expected to learn how to cook and clean, get married, start a family and become a house wife. Women were a 'nobody'. They didn't have special roles and they didn't even get to vote. Women were rioting across streets fighting for their say just to be put down year after year. After the Women's Suffrage who was initiated by Henrietta Dugdale, Australia had finally agreed to give the women the right to vote and be elected into parliament.
