On the 27th of May, 1967, Indigenous Australians got the right to vote. This referendum was set up by Harold Holt, the 17th Prime Minister of Australia. The end was a majority of 90.77% voting yes. This majority vote was and still is the biggest amount of people agreeing to a change in the constitution.
