oct 1, 1949 - Founding of the People's Republic of China

Description:

Before the People's Republic of China, there was the Republic of China and the imperial dynasties. Following the Chinese civil war, Mao Zedong founded the People's Republic of China. This began the Chinese cultural revolution. Mao proceded to launch campaigns against the wealthy people of China. He began the land reform by executing landlords and redistributing for the benefit of the poor.
