Description:

On the same day, two acts were made, one the passed and the other only signed: The Federal Emergency Relief Act, which gave funds to the states for relief efforts with the help of the Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA), and The Agricultural Adjustment Act, that gave not only relief to the farmers immediately, but also gave subsides by limiting the production of goods grown that have had surplus and set the prices for goods produced by the farmers.
