Description:
When Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery were translating the Book of Mormon they came across Baptism. They went into the woods and prayed. John the Baptist came to them and conferred upon them the Aaronic Priesthood. Later Peter, James, and John came to Joseph and Oliver and gave them the Melchizedek Priesthood. Later on April 3, 1836 Moses, Elias, and Elijah visited Joseph and Oliver in the Kirkland Temple and additional preisthood keys were restored.Added to timeline:
