Troopers responded to a domestic incident at an apartment complex around 4:45 p.m. When troopers entered the apartment, Best allegedly pulled out a knife. Two troopers fatally shot Best when he reportedly failed to comply with their orders to drop the knife. He died about a month later.Added to timeline:
