Around 3:55 a.m. officers responded to a call about suspicious activity at the Trenholm Heights Apartments. Neighbors say someone was banging on doors. Officers found someone they believed was involved. That person reportedly shot at the officers and ran away. Officers chased Kenneth Sashington to South Mulberry and 10th Street where they shot and killed him.Added to timeline:
