During the demonstrations against police violence after the death of George Flynn, at approximately 11:22 p.m., officers encountered a person who was armed with multiple firearms and appeared to be wearing body armor. The man allegedly reached for a weapon, and Officers Ryan Fryman, Dan Merton, Vernon Ferguson and Andrew Locher shot and killed him.
