Around 11 a.m., a man carjacked a Mercedes sedan and the sedan’s owner. Denver police responded, and followed the vehicle to an intersection There, both the alleged carjacker — who was "fully masked" — and the carjacking victim got out of the vehicle. The alleged carjacker was armed with a handgun and failed to follow orders to drop the weapon. Five Denver police officers and one Aurora officer shot and killed him.
