jun 12, 1902 - ALL Women in Australia are allowed to vote
Description:
On Thursday the 12th of June 1902, women were officially allowed to vote and be elected into parliament in Australia. Although sadly,
this excluded Indigenous Australians, Africans, Asians and Pacific Islanders. This meant that Australia was the second country (New Zealand first) to give equal voting rights to all women nationwide.
