Description:

The knight of Labor was the first group to try and organize skilled and unskilled laborers. Black men were included, but not Asians.

At it's peak there were 800,000 members. During a protest a bomb was thrown into a crowd and killed a policeman. 8 anarchists were charged.

Employers such as Carnegie and Rockefeller touted this as unamerican and dangerous. They blamed foreign-born for the crime.
