In 1962 Indigenous Australians had their own right to vote in Federal Elections. But, in 1903, only Aboriginal Peoples that fought in the war were allowed. Aboriginal people now could vote in federal elections if they wished. Western Australia gave them the State vote in the same year. Queensland followed in 1965.Added to timeline:
