On January 19, 1991 Iraq launched scud missiles at Israel. In total, 39 missiles were launched. There was a lot of property destroyed and 15 people were wounded in addition to 4 deaths. Those numbers could have been higher had Israel not been prepared. Iraq wanted to get Israel involved so that other Arab countries in the coalition would leave.Added to timeline:
