jan 24, 1788 - The First Fleet's Arrival to Australia
Description:
The First Fleet was a clan of 11 ships that set sail to New Holland (Australia). The passengers on board were convicts all the way from England. Most of these criminals committed harmless crimes such as stealing a loaf of bread to feed their family. Australia's purpose was to serve as a home to criminals. Once the British colonised Australia, the population grew in number. But this also meant that the British had to get to know the natives. Some turned out fine and were ignored by the 'white ghosts'. While others became slaves or were killed on the spot because the British refused to believe that the Aboriginal Australians, had the land before them.
