Description:
Kennedy allows two ships, a Soviet oil tanker and an East German passenger liner called the Bucharest, through the quarantine line. He does against his advisor's (Ex Comm) recommendations. In the United Nation's Security Council a heated debate between a US senator Adlai Stevenson, and Soviet diploma Valerian Zorin breaks out. During this debate, the United States shows the photographic evidence it has of Soviet missiles in Cuba to the Soviets.
