Description:

The First Fleet was a series of voyages completed by boats carrying convicts into the 'newly discovered' land of New Holland. The ultimate goal was to form a new British penal colony overseas. In control of the mission was Captain Arthur Phillip, who led the 11 ships transporting convicts, staff, and supplies. The reason they started to transfer convicts.
