Description:

When Lingard learns of Svarfina's ill treatment of her mortallings, he makes his way to the Southern reaches of Ár, coming upon the first of the Vourenkinn race. He begins instilling in the primitive rock-skinned creatures the Ten Virtues which Svarfina, their mother and Queen, had neglected to teach them. This act eventually leads to the Duel between Lingard and Svarfina which results in the dissapearance of the former, the death of the latter and the Vourenkinn gaining autonomy as a race.
