The rancho arm was made and designed at the Rancho Los amigos hospital as a tool for the handicapped. The 6 joints allowed it to mimic the gestures of a real human arm. Furthermore it holds the place of being the 1st robotic arms to be controlled by a computer.Added to timeline:
