Description:

This were like central hubs with spokes radiating to individual users. These were the first multi user systems were many people were online at the same time. Due to this invention/ discovery many other things were made such as file sharing to email and chat.
In further detail it allowed, a large number of users to interact concurrently with a single computer which made it possible for individuals and organizations to use a computer without owning one, and promoted the interactive use of computers and the development of new interactive applications.
