Battle between Constantine and Maxentius October 28, 312. Took place on Milvian Bridge ver Tiber River. Constantine won. Maxentius drowned in the river but body was found and decapitated with head paraded through Rome. Battle marked beginning of Constantine's conversion to Christianity. Soldiers were sent vision from God that if wore Chi-Ro sign they woudld win .Went to battle with Chi-Ro on shields.
