Two days before APEX, McLeodGaming released the official trailer for v0.9b, which imitated the E3 2006 trailer for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Some of the new content shown had been revealed already, such as Mario's and Link's resprites and Silph. Co and Skyward Voyage as new stages. However, the most notable content shown was Zero Suit Samus as a new playable character. Gameplay was shown of her as well, and she would be fully playable at APEX.Added to timeline:
