Description:

As a result of the failure of the Great Leap Forward Mao fought back using a cultural revolution.
With violence Mao aimed to rid China of its customs, habits, and thoughts.
With Chinas young radicalists leading this revolution they were soon nicknamed the red guard.
This group went on a rampage throughout China destroying art, books, and anything that reminded them of the old culture/way.
They also used violence beating and torturing people who didn't agree with Mao’s teachings.
This only led to chaos and was an epic failure causing the agricultural and industrial production to fall.
