Description:
This is the first battle in the French and Indian war. Also, this battle was the first combat action for George Washington. The battle lasted only 15 minutes. The horrific ending to this battle was that the commander for the French in this battle, was killed by Half King who was an Indian. This wasn't supposed to happen because George and Jumonville were taking about interrogating Jumonville but their languages were holding them back from understanding each other. This is why the battle is named after Jumonville.Added to timeline:
