jul 4, 325 - Constantine holds the Council of Nicaea
which decree's that God and Jesus are equal
and that Easter should be observed on Sunday
Description:
The Nicaen Creed opened the door to the official acceptance of the Son as equal to the Father, and that paved the way for the eventual Trinity doctrine.
The Council of Nicaea in 325 also decreed that Easter should be observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox (March 21). Easter, therefore, can fall on any Sunday between March 22 and April 25.
