Description:

Enrico fermi developed a theory of beta decay and from then investigated the production of artificial radioactivity by bombarding elements with neutrons. After he moved to the United states he created the first controlled nuclear fission chain reaction. This led to the discovery of atomic bombs which changed the power industry forever and wars. With his discovery of controlled fission, he created a disaster waiting but also benefiting us as we receive nuclear power which is way better than brubningi fossil fuels.
