nov 2, 1979 - Assata Shakur Escaped from jail

Description:

Assata was visited by not only three BLA members, but two of them were her family members also. Her nephew Mutulu Shakur, and by her brother Tupac Shakur. Silvia Baraldini however was an Italian activist, I’m not sure why she helped Assata but she did. The three held two guards as hostages using concealed guns to break Assata out and leave by hijacking a prison van.
