Description:
Nearing the end of the Civil War, the northerners were nearing triumph over the south. They established the Federal Freedmen's bureau. The bureau opened up a new world to the previously mistreated and enslaved African Americans. Jobs, Property, Education and the right to free will were all placed at the fingertips of African Americans.
