Description:

At 38 weeks the fetus is considered full term and will be ready to be birthed by anytime during these next few weeks of pregnancy. There will also be an increase of fetal movement during this time as well. The mother will be supplying the fetus with antibodies to protect it from diseases before the baby will be born so it will come out as a healthy baby. The fetus will be 19-21 inches in length and 6 3/4 to 10 pounds.
