The fetus has transparent skin and the lanugo, which is the fine hair on the head, begins to grow on the head. The fetus starts to suck and swallow bits of the amniotic fluid. Fingerprints have developed on the tiny fingers of the fetus. Meconium is made in the intestinal tract and will build up to be the baby's first bowel movement.
