jan 15, 1255 BC - One of Ramses' greatest projects was the temple complex at Abu Simbel. The main part of the temple was carved into a side of a cliff. The cliff where it was carved was on a bank of the Nile River. There is also a small temple he made for is favorite wife, Neferatri.
