Description:
: this allowed fair salaries for all clergy, pluralism and absenteeism were banned and some bishops lost there jobs as districts of church were to line up with departments ( 83 districts rather than 180) roles in the church were elected by citizens and possibly the most important shift was the attitude towards the people as the government forbade French citizens contact with the foreign church representatives and restricted some of the power of the Pope in France.
