sep 12, 1588 - Thomas Hobbs
Description:
In his text : the Leviathan, he tries to interpret the Bible through exegesis. He interprets a passage anode a slave that had a limited amount of work to show his position on the holiness of freedom, he relates the ‘Kingdom of God’ as an ideal government model that shows its rule through agreement, reason and morality. He also argued that the first 5 books of the Bible weren’t written by Moses, because of its contradictions, and even proposed other dates for when the Old Testament was composed.
