Description:
Since the 3rd Estate failed in negotiating for equal representation, they decided to form their own National Assembly. The 3rd Estate held their assembly in an indoor tennis court where they pledged to stay together until they made a new constitution for France. They held it there because King Louis XVI closed the Salle des États where the Estates General Meetings were, in order to silence the 3rd Estate. This is important because the King's actions further escalate the frustration and anger of the 3rd Estate to the point of retaliation.Resource: learnodo-newtonic.com
