President Lincoln is Assassinated shortly after 10:00 PM. Actor John Wilkes Booth entered the box at Ford's theatre. After Booth shot Lincoln he jumped onto the stage and ran out the back door. A doctor came to Lincoln's help and carried him onto the streets to the Petersen boarding house where he died in the morning.
