Description:
This was a march where around 250,000 people gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial to march for jobs and freedom. At this march, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. This march showed the Americans the drive for change and also influenced the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that banned disrimination in public areas and employment discrimination.
