feb 4, 1945 - Yalta Conference

Description:

Churchill, Stalin, and Rosevelt would meet to decide how the war would end. The Soviet Union would impose its government on Poland which was only allowed if it could "broaden its representativeness and permit free elections". These limits were not respected by Stalin and those who opposed Communism were repressed.
