The Omnic Crisis begins after the defunct omniums reactivate themselves and launch a military campaign against humanity, causing a worldwide crisis.

Battlefields include India, the United States, the Caribbean, Egypt, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Russia. The conflict sparks civil unrest.

SST Laboratories' Bastion units form the bulk of the omnics' forces. The nations of the world send their armed forces against the omnics, and utilize their own technologies to combat the threat. This is a war many countries thought they were prepared to fight, but no single country, not matter how powerful its military, can permanently shut down a single omnium.

The adaptability of the robots, once celebrated by humanity, have become a tactical nightmare. Worst of all, there are no demands of the omnics. There is no ideological reason for their aggression. They simply attack, and no one can understand why.

No country is able to secure its own territory, and the omnics are able to take over the world. Russia is an exception, in that it's able to defeat the omnics by itself. The German military achieves victory of its own at Eichenwalde, though at the cost of all Crusaders present at the battle.

Omnics seen in the battles of the Omnic Crisis include Bastions, OR14s, and Titans.
