Description:

Winston continues working on his shield generator with the help of Athena, encountering a snag after it blows up. Winston takes a break, ignoring Athena's nags about his vitals and physical health, and grabs a banana and some peanut butter (which are his favorites, likely due to his genetic therapy).

As he eats, he watches news of the Second Omnic Crisis in Russia, and is compelled to initiate the Overwatch recall, though Athena warns him against it, saying that every time he sees the news he wants to recall Overwatch. She warns him about the Petras Act, which deems all Overwatch activity illegal. Winston agrees, though laments on the old days.

As Winston daydreams about his time on the moon, the base is attacked by Talon agents, including the Reaper, who has the intent to gain a list of Overwatch agents' locations in order to take them out. The agents immobilize Winston with taser cables while the Reaper heads to another room and attaches a device to machinery on the wall. Athena determines that the device is hacking into her systems to extract the database of Overwatch agents, and alerts Winston of it.

Winston manages to fight off the agents, but the Reaper, brought back into the battle, knocks him out. Winston dreams further of his time on the moon, before being woken by Athena's voice, warning him that the Reaper is going to have all of the Overwatch agents' locations. Winston is almost capacitated, and the Reaper mocks the ape, saying that he'll send his fellow agents his regards, calling Winston a "monkey," but Winston claims he's not a monkey. Instead, he's a scientist.

Winston manages to defeat the Reaper by activating his shield generator, which is still malfunctioning and blowing up, then using his tesla cannon on the Reaper, incinerating him. Winston then destroys the hacking device (Possibly created by Sombra?). From his terminal, he scrambles to stop the download and save Athena. To his shock, the screens go black and she becomes unresponsive. After a tense moment, Athena comes back online and announces that the virus has been quarantined.

The agent recall screen reappears before Winston and he considers the choice again. This time, Athena doesn't protest as Winston decides to activate the recall.

When Tracer receives the signal while she's at home in King's Row, she immediately calls Winston, delighted to hear from him. She comments that they'd been out of touch for too long, and Winston agrees.

Despite being incinerated by Winston's tesla cannon, the Reaper manages to escape in a cloud of black mist. Not only did he survive, but he managed to gain access to a portion of the database, and sets off to kill as many as he can.
