Description:
This amendment declares that the right to vote will not be denied by the US or any state because of gender. This amendment is nicknamed "The Susan B. Anthony Amendment" in honor of her fight for women's suffrage.
Significance: This amendment brought equality to women and allowed women to become more independent form their own opinions. This amendment also gave women more rights and allowed women to be viewed as citizens and not anything less.
