jun 28, 1919 - The Treaty of Versailles gets Signed by Germany

Description:

On June 28th, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed by Germany. This was to ensure that Germany had taken the blame for World War 1, in which they had to have a punishment (some of Germany's territory was taken away, they had to pay their reparations, and Germany also had to reduce their army size). It will be mentioned in events moving forward, but the reason(s) why this event was significant, is because Germany being upset over the "unfair" treatment of the treaty had put their faith and trust in Adolf Hitler. He had avoided Germany paying their reparations, demanded land, and invaded places like Poland.
