Description:

Once the baby is fertilized, (zygote) you go through 13 weeks in the 1st trimester. The blastocyst is formed during the implantation.
-The fetus is still very small at 2.5 inches
-the uterus begins to expand while the baby continues to grow inside
-the endometrium inside the uterus becomes thicker as the weeks go on as well
-the fetus is growing inside the amniotic sac and is recieving nutrients through the placenta
