Description:

By 11:30, the central checkpoint at Bornholmer Strasse is inundated with people who are beginning to push their way across the border. Realizing the valve-solution will not protect the border, guards, or citizens; the border guard commander L.C. Harald Jagar decides to simply open the gates without checking papers. East German Citizens rush the gates, although at other border crossings citizens of the FRD are the ones whom forces open border checkpoints.
