GTH Automotive started the year 2020 with a bang. In January they revealed their first 2020 production car: The 2020 Futuro V12 Sport! It hit the "shelves" a month later, in February.

The striking, unusual look of the car is a talking point, but it's the brilliant engine under the hood that keeps people talking. It's a 5.7 liter naturally aspirated V12, pumping out 501HP and 614Nm of torque, propelling the 2.5 ton Futuro from 0-100kmh (62Mph) in just over 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 275kmh (171mph).

The model on display is the Sport version fitted with sport compound tires and is not intended for heavy offroading, although it is definitely capable of going off the pavement to a certain degree. However, this is a car meant for those who want to combine street performance with practicality, and make a statement with a futuristic look for the new decade!

Initial sales numbers are quite impressive, with GTH having trouble keeping up with the demand, which is a good sign for times to come.

The look of the car has divide the general public into two "teams"; for and against it, and it has gathered quite the cult following online, being turned into memes and such, giving the Futuro alot of exposure online. Actually, the search term "Futuro" has been trending on all major search engines.

For those more adventurous, a Off-Road trim is expected to be revealed later, but yet to be confirmed.
