In midsummer 2010, GTH Automotive launched a small SUV called "Embark". It was released in two trims:

- Embark Sport 2.1
- Embark All-Terrain

As the name implies, one is a sporty version for the street, and the other one a all-terrain adventure machine! Both trims share the same base 2.1L turbocharged inline 6 engine and a AWD system, but that's about it for the similarities.

This, the All-Terrain trim, differs from the Sport trim in many ways. Most notably are the offroad capabilities. It's got beefy offroad tires and higher ride height, along with a 7 gear advanced automatic gearbox. The inline 6 has been tuned further and makes 316 horsepower for added performance.

It also comes with added lights on the front and a light-bar on the roof, as well as a roofrack and a couple of mounted gas canisters on the rear.

For all of that you needed to lighten your wallet a little more, as it cost $9.000 more then the Sport trim, but was very capable once taken offroading.
