Description:

This drag build made from a 1945 ROMANOV Carrier was CCG's first build. It was a rather cheap build as they used a V6 engine from a totalled 2008 EAGLE FX-5 pickup. At the time, they didn't have the time or the funds to design and make an engine from scratch, as this was simply a fun project between friends.

That engine was far from stock though, as the CCG crew did a number on it. They modified it into a smaller displacement 3.5L with a much shorter stroke. They also slapped a couple of turbos on there and tuned it out, making 570 horsepower.

The build doesn't have much in common with the original '45 Carrier, as it has improved suspension, wide semi-slick tires and more aggressive styling.

CCG originally started as a side-gig between a few friends, but after a video of this build went viral, the CCG garage took off and it became the guys's main gig.
