Adrenaline Type-R
Description:
The Adrenaline was GTH's first ever model that was only designed and manufactured as a track car. It was a track toy on a budget and was aimed towards amateur racers looking to score some track experience.
It came "ready to run" from the box, fitted with semi-slick tires, FIA certified safety features and race tuned double-wishbone suspension all around. It's stripped on the inside with only the bare race-essentals, and weighs only 1.165 kg.
The engine is a turbochared 2 liter inline 4, making 258 horsepower and is good for a top speed of 237kmh, and 0-100kmh in 4.8 seconds.
All this for only $13.300 back in 2000 was quite the bargain and despite being aimed to a small group of consumers, it did really well. There wasn't anything else on the market that could compete with the value for money the Adrenaline offered.
Price at launch in 2000:
$13.300
