Description:

The event was at Thunderbird Arena at UBC. The premise was that an Olympic speed skater would do a lap and have a poor time. Then we would light up just her parents in the crowd and she would have a better time and then for a third lap we would light up a whole section of fans to cheer her on to victory. Petro Canada’s commitment was to pay for Canadian Olympian family members to attend the Vancouver Games.
