Description:
A group of students gathered at the ROTC building on the campus of Kent State. They had been protesting the involvement of the US in Vietnam since May 1st. The governor of Ohio, scared, called in the National Guard to control the students. The guards began to shoot teargas into the crowd to disperse the students, but as they began to leave, the guards opened fire, killing four students.
