The Candian Space Agency (CSA) is “Canada's version of NASA''. Before it was founded, all funding for space-technology came from federal government departments. After Canada's involvement with Alouette (a stalliette), the idea of the CSA was brewing. However, it wasn't until May 1989 when it was found.
