Description:

Set to launch in 2021, the James Webb Telescope is a collaboration between NASA, the CSA and the ESA (European Space Agency). Canada has contributed the Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) and the Near-Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph (NIRISS). In return, Candian scientists will be one of the first groups to analyze the data.
